KN95 Mask - Fitting Tips and Information
An KN95 Mask is a protective facemask used by those working in hazardous environments. It is worn by those who work with chemical and heavy machinery, those who are regularly exposed to substances and fumes, and those who suffer from allergies or asthma. The purpose of this type of protective gear is to protect you against dust, fumes, harmful chemicals, as well as airborne viruses, and other harmful substances. An KN95 mask is made up of a hard outer material called the particulate filter. There are two parts to this type of mask, the face shield and the particulate filter. The face shield is composed of a thin piece of foam glued to the outside of the mask. This is attached to the top of the mask with Velcro and then held on with pressure straps.
